Insight - August

Hi there! After a bit of summer vacation, the union is now back in the office. One of the first things we did when we got back was change “skitviktigt” to “inblicken.” However, our main focus has been on Insparken, which we will be holding from September 3 to 12 (yeeey). This is where all students who have not previously taken part in an introduction period will have the opportunity to do so.

There will be lots of different activities, where the afternoons will mostly consist of various competitions that you do in your teams to collect points, while the evenings will be all about partying. During Insparken, you get to meet lots of other students and have a damn good time!

During August, we have also had a few retreats where we planned the semester. We had a board retreat on July 31 to August 1, where we planned Insparken, events for the semester, and various collaborations. On August 7 to 8, it was time for the Insparken retreat, where everyone who will be involved in Insparken gathered to go through everything. Now all the mentors and element leaders are ready to welcome their participants.

On August 21 to 22, Sexmästeriet had their retreat, where they planned for the semester as well as a “fulsittning” that they will be holding almost immediately after Insparken. We hope to see you there! Sexmästeriet has also gotten a new presidium, with Maja Bonnevier Wallstedt as the new President of Sexmästeriet and Karin Olsson as the new Vice President of Sexmästeriet.

It will be incredibly fun to meet all the new students. We are now getting ready for Insparken! We will be standing in the middle of campus selling tickets from August 31 to September 3 (you won't be able to miss us). See you there!
