Foreword
As the autumn darkness begins to settle over campus, we hope you’ve settled into your studies and are excited to start your teaching placements (VFU)!
What’s been happening?
During September, both KSK and Sexmästeriet have organized several fun events for students at the university.KSK arranged go-karting and billiards, while Sexmästeriet hosted a Ralle evening with BBQ, a pub crawl, a Red Flag party, and a game night.
We’re so happy to see that so many students have joined in — especially those of you who participated in the welcome weeks and are now experiencing student life in Kristianstad for the first time!
In October, Nelly and Daniel attended a University Board meeting, where we received updates on the progress of the City Campus project. You might have noticed that the walls in part of the shopping mall are currently being taken down — that’s where the new campus will be located in a few years!
Elin Svensson, our Social Affairs Coordinator, is continuing her work planning events for the autumn semester. One of the highlights coming up is the formal dinner (finsittning), which we’re organizing together with Cefyrekon. The dinner will take place on November 14 at Meat & Meet in the city. Elin Finnman, our Student Proxy, has also continued her great work throughout September and October, staying in close contact with students who seek support and guidance.

This week marks Kristianstad Student Union’s Election Meeting!

As a student and member of KSK, you have the chance to vote for who will be part of the Student Union Board for 2026. You are warmly welcome to attend and make your voice heard!
At the end of October, Sexmästeriet is hosting a Halloween Party at Meat & Meet, located near Kristianstad Central Station. Even better — you can bring your friends from outside your studies! You can purchase up to five tickets in total (including your own).

Tired of staring at your textbooks? Looking to get your adrenaline pumping? Take a break from studying and join us for an action-packed event at Laserdome, located on the second floor of Galleria Boulevard. The main attraction is, of course, Laserdome, where your tactics and speed will be put to the test — but that’s not all! You’ll also get the chance to show off your skills in shuffleboard and pool golf.
