Welcome to the new year and straight into the end of January! Kristianstad Student Union wants to welcome all new and returning students to the new semester.

The biggest and first thing that has already happened in January is that the new board has started working. We are located on the ground floor of Building 15 if you want to come by and say hello. So, who are we in the new board? Well, let me tell you now: First up, we have Daniel Matancic, our President. He has previously been active in one of the university’s student associations, Cerfyrekon, as vice-president.
Next is Nelly Sandell, our vice-president. Like the previous vice-president, Nelly hasn´t been involved in Kristianstad Student Union before; she went directly from being a student to vice-president. Nelly is a newly graduated preschool teacher who will do her best to support Daniel.
Our Student Proxy is Elin Finnman. She is one of us who has been on campus the longest. She will be there to support you students with student-related legal matters, such as issues involving harassment or unfair treatment by teachers.
Lastly, we have Elin Svensson, our Study Social Organizer. She is in charge of the Student Union’s social media, and if you want to see what she posts, you can follow the union on Facebook: Kristianstad Studentkår – KSK, and Instagram: @kstad_studkar. The union is also on TikTok: @kstad_studkar.
These four amazing individuals will take Kristianstad Student Union to new heights!
But it doesn’t stop here—what would the union be without its loyal board members? We’re talking about Ebba Daréus and Nikki Ström, who are our chairperson and vice-chairperson of the "Sexmästeriet".
For those of you who don’t know about the Sexmästeriet, it’s Kristianstad Student Union’s social committee. They organize events such as parties, sit-down dinners, pub crawls, and game nights. Keep an eye on their Instagram for event information: @sexmasteriet_ksk.
