IMPORTANT AS SHIT. Mars

Hello hello all readers,

Hope you’ve had a good month of March!

Here’s a short summary of what we’ve been up to:

On March 18, we had an event at Laserdome where you students played laser tag and also billiard golf. A super fun but sweaty event!

After that, the Social Committee hosted a pub crawl with a quiz on March 25. We started at O’Learys where there was some food and drinks, then moved on to Taco Bar where the socializing continued, and finally ended up at Kongen where the quiz took place.

Our presidium were in Falun between March 19 and 22, where they attended FörFum with SAMS (Collaborating Students). SAMS is a group consisting of smaller student unions (us and 9 other unionens) so that we can have a unified voice in larger meetings with all student unions. This time, Dalarna Student Union was the host, and they discussed SFS (Sweden’s United Student Unions) proposals regarding their governing documents. They also managed to do a bit of partying.

On March 23, it was time for both a members meeting and an annual meeting, as we needed to make a change to our statutes. The meetings went smoothly and without any issues.

We in the student union are also currently working on an issue, as there are discussions about removing the queue system for written exam halls. We believe this is a bad idea and want to prevent it from going through.

Last but not least (and most importantly), our Student Social Coordinator had her birthday on March 30. Congratulations, Elin!
