Foreword

As the November chill settles in, we at Kristianstad Student Union hope you’re enjoying your studies! Can you believe the year is almost over already?

What’s been happening?

In October, Kristianstad Student Union held its annual election meeting, where next year’s board was elected!

The 2026 Board:

• President: Victoria Malm

• Vice President: Mohamad Ismail

• Student Proxy: Dawan Rauf

• Study Social Organizer: Elin Svensson

• Chair & Vice Chair of Sexmästeriet: Alma Malmborg & Tova Ekelund

• Board Member: Rebecca Blixt

• Deputy Member: Sebastian Bundajev

On the last day of October, Sexmästeriet hosted one of its biggest Halloween parties yet at Meat & Meet!The event was full of creative costumes – from Zlatan and police officers to witches, SpongeBob, and his friends. The evening was filled with dancing, great music, and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the venue!

In early November, our President attended the SFS Members’ Meeting at the University of Gothenburg. A few days later, it was time for the University’s traditional Goose Dinner at the Stadshotellet, featuring delicious food and well-deserved awards for students, alumni, and staff.

During November, we also began the handover process to the new 2026 board. This will continue through November and December, giving the incoming board members insight into how Kristianstad University and the Student Union work.

What’s coming up?

During Week 47 (17–20 November), our Vice President and Student Ombud will be available in Building 7 to meet students with questions about student influence or upcoming events. Feel free to stop by and have a chat!

19 November – Laserdome Event

Join KSK for an action-packed evening at Laserdome! Show off your laser-tag skills, and enjoy access to shuffleboard and pool golf. Don’t wait – grab your ticket in the Mecenat app for a night full of fun and adrenaline!

27 November – Game Night at O’Learys

Our social committee, Sexmästeriet, invites you to a relaxed Game Night at O’Learys.Enjoy a cozy evening with fun games, discounted food and drinks, and the chance to challenge your friends in a shuffleboard tournament!

The handover process for the new board continues, with the newcomers joining meetings to get familiar with the work they’ll take over in January.

In early December, half of our executive committee will travel to Sundsvall to take part in SamS’ annual general meeting. Student unions from across Sweden will review statutes and elect new coordinators — and once again, Kristianstad Student Union has the honor of serving as the Nomination Committee this year.At the same time, the rest of our executive committee and board members will participate in Musikhjälpen Kristianstad, together with the local municipality.
