The Union Board
The board of trustees works during the year for all students at Kristianstad University. All are current or former students at the university and have chosen to apply to the board in order to influence and help develop the student body for the better. The board works, among other things, with running projects such as the kick-off, gathering students' opinions and making all major decisions concerning the student union and its activities. The board includes both those who are remunerated and those who have been elected as board members, so in between there is close cooperation and wonderful discussions about both the corps' and the university's activities. In 2021, the board worked particularly with visibility and to make visible the work done by and for students at HKR.

Who are we??
Kristianstad Student Union is a non-profit organization that works for all students at Kristianstad University. The purpose of having a student union is to make your time at college as good as possible.
The history of the Union
Kristianstad's Student Union was formed in 1975. At that time there were four full-time members of the student union who worked to increase the students' right to a better education at HKR.
Today, KSK sits in house 15 and works with student legal matters. The move to house 15 began in 2019 and was completed the same year, however, a large part has been moved around the area where HKR is located today.

Studentinfluence in Sweden
Kristianstad's Student Union works actively with engagement among students and one way we influence this is through Sweden's United Student Unions (SFS). Since 1921, this organization has worked with active student involvement for all student unions that are part of SFS.
SFS's main task is to conduct student politics mainly on a national level but also on an international level.
Through membership in SFS, Kristianstad's students have the opportunity to make their voices heard and influence nationally.
