Kristianstad Student Union
The Student Union Board at Kristianstad Student Union works for all students at Kristianstad University.
The board consists of voluntarily engaged students who make important decisions, run projects, and work with educational policy issues.
The engagement provides valuable insight into the work of the Student Union and the university, opportunities to build a strong professional network, and a certificate for your CV after completing the assignment.
Kristianstad Student Union is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 and today has its premises in Building 15.

The Board Of Trustees
The board of trustees are board members who have a specific assignment within the Student Union, and receive compensation (an honorarium) for their work during the term of office, in accordance with the rules and instructions set out in the board’s rules of procedure.
Board Members
A board member is an elected member of the Student Union Board who, together with the other members, is responsible for leading the activities of Kristianstad Student Union in accordance with its statutes and adopted decisions.
Kansli
When visiting Kristianstad Student Union, this is usually the first point of contact. Susanne works at our administrative office and, among other things, assists with handling the student union fee and purchasing office supplies.

SamS
Kristianstad Student Union is part of a smaller coalition called SamS (Collaborating Students).
Within this group, discussions are held in preparation for the SFS General Assembly, and our views are gathered to be brought to the SFS Assembly each year.
Within SamS, we work together with Blekinge Student Union, Dalarna Student Union, Halmstad Student Union, Gotland Student Union Rindi, the Student Union in Skövde, the Student Union in Östersund, the Student Union in Sundsvall, and the Student Union at University West.
Student Influence in Sweden
Kristianstad Student Union actively works to promote student engagement, and one way we influence this is through the Swedish National Union of Students (SFS).
This organization has worked since 1921 to promote active student engagement for all student unions that are members of SFS.
The main task of SFS is to conduct student policy work primarily at the national level, but also at the international level.
Through membership in SFS, students in Kristianstad have the opportunity to make their voices heard and influence matters at the national level.
