When starting a course
o Three weeks in advance receive a schedule
o The schedule must contain the exam and re-exam dates
o Four weeks in advance receive curse syllabus and literature lists
o The school does not need to send this information to you, but it must be available on e.g. web page.
o To conduct changes the whole class must take part in the decision making.
After a course
o At the end of a course period the students can evaluate and give feedback about the course.
o School is guilty to compile the course evaluations and inform about results and measures.
o The information must be available for the students.
o All course evaluations can be handed in anonymous.
Student protection representatives
o Student protection representatives have right to education in work environment questions
o Student protection representatives have the authority to demand measures if there are flaws in the school working environment. The school is forced immediately implement measures and correct flaws
Rights associated with examination and exams
o Reasonable time for teachers to correct exams is 15 days.
o Students have right to new examination after failing the exam twice in the same course.
o Teachers cant lower your grade
o Students have right to five exams on one course after they have been accepted to it
o Limitations can occur for re-exams that needs special resources e.g. laboratory. The limitations must then be clear in the course syllabus
o Student has right to feedback on their examination
