Student Union Office / Student Union fee

At kansliet you can pay your Student Union Fee, get information about KSK and purchase student prized study material.
In Sweden, a law called Kårobligatoriet, states that all students in higher education must be members in a Student Union at the University where they study. At HKr there is only one Union, KSK, and therefore all students at HKr have to be members of KSK while studying. The size of the membership fee that you pay every semster is not regulated by law, it is up to the students at each university to decide. The KSK fee is set at the annual meeting in May and is now set to:

Regular Studies	15hp or more (fulltime)	300 kr
	14.5hp or less	200 kr
Distance Studies:	1-30hp	200 kr

You can pay the fee at "Kansliet" in The Student Union Building (see map). Every student are supposed to recieve a form for payment from KSK within a few weeks after the start of the semester. If you are a new student at HKr you have to use a form with the number 0250 (instead of 0200) in the section called avinummer. If the number is wrong, please contact KSK kansli. In the right form for new students 50 kr in inskrivningsavgift (administrative fee - only first semester) are preprinted.
Förseningsavgift - 100 kronor extra fee if you pay after last payment date (Spring: 28/2, Fall: 30/9 or 30 days after the course starts)
