At kansliet you can pay your Student Union Fee, get information about KSK and purchase student prized study material. In Sweden, a law called Kårobligatoriet, states that all students in higher education must be members in a Student Union at the University where they study. At HKr there is only one Union, KSK, and therefore all students at HKr have to be members of KSK while studying. The size of the membership fee that you pay every semster is not regulated by law, it is up to the students at each university to decide.
